Modern System for VGTRK
Type of delivery:
VGTRK is the largest public TV station in Russia. The broadcast station is onAir since September 2004. It builds on a stable user portion. The central station in Moscow is connected with 89 local stations. Today VGTRK has 2,000 seats - 5,000 are planned in future. Between VGTRK and the local stations agreements apply for developing of digital newsrooms.

Implementation:
Company-wide contents are prepared in the central station with NCPower Pro and sent to the 89 local stations. The local stations work at it with Linux.
VGTRK works at present on basis of:
- Fujitsu Siemens Hardware, Solaris OS
- Tamino XML-Server
- Veritas Cluster
- FX-Deko / Pinnacle
- BDL Teleprompter
- Further : Integration of radio, web publishing, archive
Role of NorCom:
Analysis of workflow, supply and configuration of NCPower Pro according to "old" and new workflow, change management, system integration, training in Russian.
