Munich, 30th June 2010 – NorCom Information Technology AG (NorCom) launches the software solution NCSpace. The media asset management system supports efficient saving, searching, handling and distributing of multi-media content.
Efficient search via metadata and theme container
With NCSpace all kind of multimedia content can be ingested. During the ingest content will automatically be tagged with metadata. In addition the metadata can be configured individually by the user.
„Only meta data enable an efficient search within complex content”, said Robin Ribback, Head of Product Management & Business Development. „A good example are the time codes which are stored on the metadata. Thereby, it is not only possible to find the right video but also the right section within the video.”
Further advantage of NCSpace is that objects are linked by means of theme containers. If the user is looking for a video, all relevant other content is provided additionally.
Open system with high integratability
For all kinds of content an adequate content editor is being inte-grated so that the working process can be started directly out of the system.
Afterwards the object can be saved or used for further purposes. No matter what is done: everything will be stored in the metadata.
The growing metadata not only expedite daily work – they are also of great importance for the digital rights management.
