  • Extended product portfolio opens new markets

Munich, 05th May 2010 –
NorCom has increased its output in the first quarter (1st January until 31st March 2010) from 8.1 Mio € in the previous year to about 9.6 Mio €. This corresponds to an increase of about 20 %. The EBIT was 0.2 Mio €.

 in Mio. €  1st quarter 2010   1st quarter 2009
 total output   9.6   8.1
 EBIT  0.2   +0.0

Business operations
Both NorCom sectors, Consulting and Product, have developed extremely positive in the 1st quarter and contributed to the in-creasing  total output. Another very pleasant fact is that the sub-sidiary Value & Risk has also achieved a positive result again.

NorCom´s sector Consulting is booked to capacity and staff is being up-sized constantly.
The NCPower-team has focused on the successful handling of new-won orders in 2009. At the same time new products, like NCPower iPhone App and NCPower Software-as-Service (SaaS), were pre-sented during the NAB Show in Las Vegas. Further important busi-ness contacts could be established to US partners.

Forecast
„We are satisfied with the development in the first three months – however, this year we will have the possibility to realize a good deal more. Particularly with regard to NCPower we are expecting increasing sales,” announced Viggo Nordbakk, CEO and founder of NorCom AG. „Concerning the Broadcast sector, the NAB Show has proved that we can assume good perspectives. Due to the constant extension and improvement of our product portfolio we are operating successfully on the market. Our great variety of products will help us to strengthen our leading and innovative position. In 2010 we are expecting a takeover increase of at least 20 %.”
